So i’m sat watching prime-time TV, when the advert break is in full force and amongst all the noise, colours and bombardment of advertisements offering everything from insurance to visiting Wales, I hear the words ‘paintball’. Paintball is never advertised on TV? But then I realised it was one of those funky moon dog websites that offer customized cards for any occasion.
But this made me realize that, even though I’ve only seen one advert on TV for paintball (See Skirmish Paintballs advert), the paintball industry has done pretty well when being placed inside of adverts. Many of the larger companies pay insane amounts of money to create fast paced and cutting edge adverts, and when paintball is used as the back drop, then the industry benefits greatly without the cost.
There has been a fantastic array of adverts over the years that have used paintball as their main theme to sell their products, selling anything from cars, to energy drinks, to lottery tickets.
